“ This is typical osteria next to famous fish market. Place specialise in seafood which is really fresh. I recommend scoglio pasta and marinated shrips. In general it is a osteria focused on tourists ”
“ The eggplant-flavored pasta was rich with a strong tomato taste — I loved it. The bread for the octopus sandwich was excellent. The staff were very friendly and even brought us a fan. Overall, a wonderful experience. ”
“ Dined at Osteria Al Casareccio twice – once for lunch and again for dinner – and both visits were exceptional. On my first visit, I came in during an off hour when most restaurants were closed. Jet-lagged and needing a quick meal before an important call, I was so grateful the team kindly packed my order to go. Their hospitality was warm and accommodating. The menu is impressively thoughtful and diverse for such an understated location. The pasta busiata with uni and local gambero rosso was a standout – rich, fresh, and beautifully balanced. Their marinated shrimp was equally excellent, and even the bread deserves a mention for being fresh and perfectly crusty. Wonderful food, lovely team, and a welcoming vibe whether you’re dining in or grabbing something on the go. Highly recommend. ”
“ I should tell that this place is fabulous, the place, taste, atmosphere, the behavior and generosity of place is fantastic. I tried one of the best pasta i have ever tasted, “Scoglio” was amazing, big portions and the best taste, the guy named Marcello and his brother were so gentle, funny and also the big thing for me was that I dropped my wallet and this person picked up my wallet from the floor and kept it for hours! When i figured out that my wallet is lost i run to the place, after hours, this gentleman politely returned my wallet to me! :) I can’t believe this kind of generosity. I will definitely go back again and again for both the great food and this great kindness. Thank you very much. ”

“ Probably not our first choice to dine in Palermo but when the children get hungry, that’s definitely a place where you’ll feel welcomed. Pasta con nero di seppia, polpetta di sarde and cotoletta di pollo were all good but the Aperol spritz was perfect. And the free WiFi also produces miracles when you need it ”
“ I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant in Palermo. The staff were truly outstanding – professional, welcoming, and always attentive, making sure everything was perfect. I started with a traditional appetizer platter paired with an Aperol, and it was simply exceptional – a real taste of Sicily. Then came the pizza… and honestly, it left me speechless. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. A wonderful place with authentic food and top-notch service. Highly recommended! ”
